Echoes of Horizon

On 28th June 2025, Firstone Rehab Foundation organized its much-awaited annual seminar titled “Echoes of Horizon” at the serene venue of Treeboo House Inn, Noida. This health-centered seminar was uniquely curated to bring together people with disabilities and healthcare professionals on one platform, fostering dialogue, recognition, and awareness around inclusion, early intervention, and the celebration of abilities beyond limitations. The event was a symbolic representation of what the foundation stands for—dignity, empowerment, and equality for children and individuals with special needs.
The event was gracefully inaugurated by our two young and dynamic anchors, Saumyaa Soni and Granth Gupta, whose energy and confidence set an inspiring tone for the entire gathering. The proceedings began with a soulful Saraswati Vandana, followed by a Ganesh Vandana performed beautifully by Saanvi Sinha, evoking a sense of devotion, purity, and cultural pride. These performances reflected not only artistic expression but also the inclusivity the event intended to promote.
The occasion was further honored by the presence of our Chief Guest, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Gautam Buddha Nagar. In his address, Dr. Sharma acknowledged the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, particularly those living with conditions like Cerebral Palsy, and expressed genuine appreciation for the perseverance shown by the children and the tireless efforts of the therapists and educators. He assured the audience that he would raise these important concerns at policy-making levels to improve awareness and support systems. Among our special guests were eminent personalities from various disciplines, including Dr. Bhavna Anand, Dr. Nidhi Bansal, Dr. Amit Gupta, Dr. Tribhuvan Singh, Mrs. Maheshwari Chaudhary, Dr. Divakar Sukul, and Mr. Anadi Sukul, whose presence elevated the dignity of the event and added valuable insight during the interactive sessions.
A major highlight of the day was the Award Ceremony, where the Foundation recognized the contributions and achievements of individuals in the field of rehabilitation and beyond. The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was conferred upon Dr. Tribhuvan Singh for his decades-long commitment to advancing medical practice. Dr. Pallavi Sharma was honored for her Outstanding Work in Physiotherapy, reflecting her consistent dedication to empowering mobility-impaired individuals. Ms. Sakshi Badola received the Student of the Year Award, representing the spirit of young achievers breaking barriers in both academics and personal development. The Dynamic Woman Award was proudly presented to Dr. Priti Srivastava for her inspiring leadership and contribution to women’s empowerment within the medical field.
At its core, Echoes of Horizon was not just about discussions and awards; it was about changing perceptions. It gave children and youth with disabilities the spotlight—not as subjects of therapy, but as hosts, artists, and contributors to society. It allowed families to witness their children being celebrated, acknowledged, and treated as equals. Through this event, FirstOne Rehab Foundation aimed to communicate a powerful message: that children with disabilities are not different or separate—they are a full and vibrant part of our society and deserve every opportunity to thrive.
The event concluded on a note of unity, inspiration, and renewed commitment. As the curtains drew on Echoes of Horizon, what remained was the sound of applause, the smiles of proud parents, and the quiet confidence of children who, for a day and for the many days to come, knew they belonged. The Firstone Rehab Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the guests, supporters, families, and team members who made this meaningful event a resounding success.
